Вільям Беррі (William Berry; 1639–1718) – англійський книгорозповсюджувач, географ, картограф та гравер. Найактивніший період наукової діяльності Вільяма Беррі – приблизно з 1670 р.  по 1703 р. Він виправив та вніс зміни до набору карт Ніколя Сансона, який часто називався «Англійською колекцією Сансона». Вони були дуже рідкісні й дуже популярні. Через сильну голландську школу картографії у XVI-XVII ст. мало хто з англомовних картографів досяг високого рівня майстерності. В. Беррі був винятком, складав карти, які конкурували з точністю та красою з картами великих голландських картографів.

Його найдовше партнерство було з картографом Робертом Морденом (Robert Morden; 1650-1703), разом вони продавали топографічні роботи, гравюри, карти, діаграми та глобуси.

Наддніпрянщина (Правобережна та Лівобережна) показана як VKRAINE or the Counry of the COSAQUES (Україна Країна Козаків). Західна Україна – Чорна Русь (Black Russia).

На карті позначено Тартарію Буджацьку, Тартарію Очаківську і т. п.

1682 р. видав у Лондоні карту «Russia Alba, or, Moscovia : divided according to the extent of the kingdoms, dukedoms, principalities, provinces, and peoples that are at present under the dominion of the Czar of Russia, known by the name of Great Duke of Moscovia» (Біла Русь або Московія). Наддніпрянщина (Правобережна та Лівобережна) показана як VKRAINE or the Counry of the COSAQUES (Україна Країна Козаків). Написи VKRAINE та Volhynie (Волинь) на карті розміщені паралельно і займають одну територію. Західна Україна – Чорна Русь (Black Russia).

На карті позначено Поділля, Бессарабію, Буджак і т. п.  На південь від Московської Рязанщини позначена ОКРАЇНА (ОKRAINА).

Теперішня Росія позначена як Біла Русь, або Московія.

1685 р. видав у Лондоні карту «The empire of the Great Turke in Europe, Asia, & Africa : divided into all its beglerbeglicz or governments in which are also distinguished the states that are tributary to him» (Імперія Великої Туреччини в Європі, Азії та Африці…).

Наддніпрянщина (Правобережна та Лівобережна) показана як VKRAINE or the Counry of the COSAQUES (Україна Країна Козаків). Західна Україна – Чорна Русь (Black Russia).

На карті позначено Тартарію Буджацьку, Тартарію Очаківську і т. п. 

1685 р. видав у Лондоні карту   “Poland Subdivided according to the Extent of its severall Palatinates... Dedicated To the most serene and most sacred majesty of Charles II...”. Наддніпрянщина (Правобережна та Лівобережна) показана як VKRAINE or the Counry of the COSAQUES (Україна Країна Козаків). Написи VKRAINE та Volhynie на карті розміщені паралельно і займають одну територію. Західна Україна – Чорна Русь (Black Russia). Південна Україна позначена як Дике Поле (Dzike Polie). На карті показано Чорний шлях (Czarny slack) – стародавній розгалужений торговельний шлях, яким користувалися тюркські народи Північного Причорномор'я для перекочівлі з Лівобережної України на Запоріжжя (Січ), Поділля, Галичину. Чорний шлях починався з Перекопського перешийка і йшов на північ, через запорозькі степи, на верхів'ях річок Інгула, Інгульця і Тясмину, повертав на захід та розгалужувався на декілька шляхів.
